Another day, another...baby?!?!

Well, here we are, only 4 months or so to go and we will have a little baby to keep for ourselves!

Just think, all ours.

Crikey, these are the moments when you realize that apart from being with the missus for the past 5 years, most of your life is genreally looking out for yourself and having limited responsibilities. Guess this changes things.

No more ruthlessly spending money on shiny things with lights you can't afford. Just squidgy pink things that puke and poo - that you also can't afford. Oh, here comes the money thing. No, mustn't do the money thing, that was another blog.

This blog is about being happy. I guess you could say I am happy, no, probably contented morelike. Sandra is loving being preggers and is happy enough to leave work altogether, I am enjoying my work and interspersing it with the vast rebuild of our loft. Thinking of buying a big wasted house and rebuilding it now! And we love it here in Devon.

Anyway, more deadlines loom. Best skidaddle.

Another day, another penny!

Business Ups & Downs.
Running a new business is hard. Sometimes it just seems like you are getting nowhere. There are peaks of motivational positives, then lows of, "oh god, how can we pay that bill" and 'where is the next job coming from". One of you is desperatley trying to start up their business and another is grinding away at theirs in hopefulness, you can only come to one conclusion....they are both mental.

New Macs.
Apple just launched the new laptops. Gonna have to work hard to get one of those. Bruv (whom i have total use of his laptop whilst he is away being rude in hammocks) will want his back i suppose. Well there is three months to go i suppose.

Pound Signs!
Basically it all comes down to money. Almost all the time doesn't it. Arguments with the wife are about... money. Most of the mail through your door is about... money. Even watching a certain football match on t.v. now costs even more... money!
Still, without it we are, well yes bankrupt, but, well, able to crack on with the things we need to do to keep busy and live your life. Big overdrafts and credit cards were put on this earth to keep you grounded. To make you think you are like everyone else.... IN DEBT!!

Musical Whims.
I sometimes think, wouldn't it be great to just pick up my guitar and write a great song. I mean a realy great song. And just as you get part way into the second verse, just as things are going great, you think, no, my fingers hurt and it sounded crap anyway!

Still, tomorrows another day, and it might be a good one. Then again the hamster might get the trotts and some more plaster could fall off the wall. But hey, at least I can't be labeled with the "life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans" motif.
